In 2009 I moved from Kansas City to Grand Prairie in order to take over The Brace Place from the retiring Dr. Chester Spencer. The Brace Place has been built on a strong tradition which has served Grand Prairie and the surrounding mid-cities for over 40 years. It is my mission to continue and expand on this tradition by exceeding your expectations with the highest quality of care and customer service.

As a previous orthodontic patient I can appreciate the commitment necessary from the patients and parents in order to achieve the smile that they deserve. As I view every patient as my own family member you can rest assured that I will do everything in my power to give you the best smile possible during treatment.

Before I became an orthodontist, I received the following education:

  • University of Kansas, Undergraduate Degree (BA-Human Biology)
  • University of Missouri at Kansas City, Dental School (DDS)
  • University of Florida, Orthodontic Fellowship (Certificate)
  • University of Missouri at Kansas City, Orthodontic Residency (Certificate)

By staying on top of the most recent technology and procedures, I am able to give my patients the very best orthodontic treatment available. I continue to study the latest advances in orthodontics through membership in the following professional organizations:

Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my three dogs: Sasha, Pacha and Niko!

My hobbies include: running, snowboarding, surfing, golfing, traveling and eating. I’m a huge fan of all sports, however, my loyalty will always be with the crimson and blue Jayhawks of KU!
