Meet The Orthodontist
Dr. Spencer is a native Texan, having grown up in the Panhandle town of Borger. Upon graduation from high school he attended Oklahoma State University, and was first team all-conference wide receiver on the varsity football team. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering, he graduated from Baylor University College of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.Among the many honors Dr. Spencer has received during his career, one of his proudest was the Gold Medal award as top graduate in his class at Baylor University Dental School. In addition to graduating first in his class from dental school, he was named outstanding scholastic freshman and outstanding scholastic senior, received the Award of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and was selected to the Odontological Honor Sicronociety and Om Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. He was also Class President during the sophomore year of dental school. The Charles H. Tweed Orthodontic Study Group of the Southwest granted him the C.T. Roland award for the most outstanding proficiency in clinical orthodontics. Dr. Spencer earned his Masters Degree in Orthodontics at Baylor in the Graduate Department of Orthodontics. The doctor currently resides in Grand Prairie with his wife Wanda. They have a daughter and two wonderful grandchildren. |
